The Asia-Pacific Predator League 2022 returns with total prize pool of USD 400,000 (RM1,760,600 USD1 : RM4.4 @ 20 June 2022) including local prizes across all participating regions. Winning teams from 15 countries and territories will gather at the APAC Predator League 2022 Grand Finals in Japan from 11 - 13 November 2022.


“After two years of lockdown and travel restrictions, we are so excited to meet the esports teams in-person again. ‘Become One’ is the theme for Predator League 2022, emphasising the need to reconnect with fellow gamers and demonstrating Acer’s commitment to the gaming community,” said Andrew Hou, President of Acer Pan Asia Pacific Regional Operations.


For the Malaysian leg, Acer Malaysia invites the top teams to join the qualifier for DOTA 2 and PUBG:BATTLEGROUNDS to battle for a share of the RM100,000 total prize pool. The teams emerge triumphant in DOTA 2 and PUBG:BATTLEGROUNDS will bring home Predator products together with cash prize of RM10,000 and RM12,000 respectively, and represent Malaysia in the APAC Predator League Grand Finals. All registered teams will pit their skills in September 2022 towards securing their place in glory. Registration starts on 1 July 2022, gamers can register through PLANET9

The ultimate champions of each game in the Grand Finals will fly home with cash prize, products and also the APAC Predator League Shield.


The Asia-Pacific Predator League first started in 2017/18 and Malaysia’s first champion - Geek Fam was the team that secured their name in history by bringing back the first APAC Predator League Shield from the Grand Finals in Jakarta, Indonesia. It also secured them a place as an invited team at the Predator League 2019 Grand Final in Bangkok, Thailand.
